About the Job

We are seeking a Design Project Coordinator to join our multidisciplinary in-house technical team at Bourne Group Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and managing all aspects of CAD delivery and coordinating with project teams.

Your Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Project Planning: Develop and implement project plans to ensure successful project delivery.
  • CAD Management: Manage and coordinate all CAD-related activities internally and as subcontract requirements.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with project managers, lead the CAD team's performance, and distribute responsibilities accordingly.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all drawings meet national standards and internal procedures.
  • Contract Management: Source, negotiate, and manage CAD subcontract orders with approval from a BEL Director.
  • Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance to the broader BGL team on live projects, tenders, and development projects.
  • Progress Reporting: Regularly update the operational team on project status through reports and coordination meetings.
About the Ideal Candidate

To succeed in this role, you should have a degree or higher national qualification in a relevant construction discipline, with a strong understanding of building construction, structural steelwork, NSSS, Building Regulations, and Tekla Structures.

Your excellent communication skills will enable you to work effectively with project teams and stakeholders, while your proven experience in managing programs and people will help you to deliver results-driven outcomes.

The estimated salary for this position is £60,000-£70,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
