Job Description

Business Development Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at SER (Staffing) Ltd. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving business growth and developing new sales opportunities in the packaging industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the packaging industry, with a focus on the spirits market.
  • Account Management: Manage a portfolio of existing customers, nurturing relationships and identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and exceed departmental goals.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to stay up-to-date on industry trends and customer needs.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to ensure alignment and achieve shared goals.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports on sales performance, customer interactions, and pipeline development.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 3-6 years of experience in packaging sales, with a strong understanding of the UK market.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Education: Degree in a relevant field, such as business, marketing, or sales.
  • Other: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on results and customer satisfaction.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive Salary: £45,000 to £55,000, with higher salary potential based on performance.
  • Benefits: 25 days holiday + bank holidays, 5k car allowance, commission paid at 2% of sales, health cash plan, perk box, 4% Pension, cycle to work scheme, laptop, and phone.
