Project Survey Coordinator

About the Role:
As a Project Survey Coordinator, you will play a vital role in managing survey activities for various marine projects. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing survey activities, ensuring accurate data collection and compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate survey activities for marine projects, including determining survey requirements and selecting suitable equipment.
- Lead and supervise a team of surveyors, providing guidance, assigning tasks, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Determine appropriate surveying techniques, such as GPS, total stations, and laser scanning.
- Implement quality assurance processes to ensure accurate and consistent data collection.
- Collaborate with surveyors, engineers, contractors, and other engineering-related professionals to integrate survey data into construction processes.
- Manage survey budgets, track expenses, and optimize resource allocation.
- Enforce safety protocols and guidelines during fieldwork to ensure the well-being of surveying teams and site personnel.
- Prepare and present survey reports, maps, and data visualizations for client review and project documentation.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in marine works.
- Fluency in software programs related to survey and bathymetry.
- Master quantities (land and marine).
- Data analysis and statistical methods knowledge.
- Strong team management and leadership skills.
- Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of providing survey functions for civil and construction works, including jetties.
- Hold a qualification in Land or Engineering Surveying or any other related qualifications (Senior QS) or professional experience.
- Demonstrative experience in modern survey instrumentation, including total stations, GPS, data modelling, and manipulation through a survey CAD package.
- CSCS.
- SSSTS or SMSTS.
- First Aid.
Salary: £55,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Location: Immingham.
