Role Overview

As a Mechanical Engineering Designer at Matchtech Mobility, you will play a key role in designing and developing innovative solutions for the aerospace industry. This is an exciting opportunity to work on challenging projects and contribute to the company's success.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary duties will include:

  • Developing conceptual designs and working drawings for a range of aerospace products.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet customer requirements.
  • Managing design changes and revisions throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Working closely with suppliers and manufacturers to source components and materials.
  • Conducting inspections and testing to verify design integrity.
  • Preparing and presenting design reports and proposals to customers and stakeholders.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Excellent skills in computer-aided design (CAD) software, including Autodesk Inventor and Solidworks.
  • Experience in mechanical engineering design, with a focus on aerospace applications.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to communicate complex design concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
