Research Fellow in Natural Capital Accounting

About the role
This position is funded by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) as part of its Economic Statistics Centre of Excellence (ESCoE) programme. A key workstream of the ESCoE programme is the improved measurement and presentation of natural capital, both in extended national accounts and in other published economic accounts. The salary for this post is £43,124 - £51,610 (including London Allowance), with appointments generally made at the lower end of the scale.

About you
The successful candidate will have a PhD in an area relevant to natural capital measurement and accounting, and demonstrate knowledge of natural capital concepts and approaches to its measurement. They will also have experience of research in some or all of national accounting, natural capital, environmental valuation, input-output analysis, and related topics.
