Gi Group Professionals is hiring a Utility Meter Technician to join our team. As a Utility Meter Technician, you will be responsible for collecting data from gas, electricity & water meters for both commercial and residential properties.

The salary for this role is £27,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience, with a bonus scheme and overtime rates (£16 - £18) at manager's discretion.

The ideal candidate will have a full UK Driving Licence with no more than 3 points, and be physically fit with the ability to work in all weather conditions. Previous customer service experience is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Collecting data from domestic, commercial, and industrial sites for Water, Gas and Electric Meters
  • Carrying out visual inspections of associated metering equipment
  • Charge Point Surveys
  • Driving and motivation to work in an independent role
