Heavy Vehicle Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Vehicle Maintenance Technician to join our team at Manpower UK Ltd. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with our fleet of vehicles and trailers, ensuring they are in safe working order.
As a Heavy Vehicle Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repair work on our fleet. You will also conduct in-depth engineering work and diagnostics, executing repairs to the highest standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Executing repairs to the highest standards
- Working independently and within a team
- Safely operating equipment
- Ensuring all vehicles are in safe working order
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A City & Guilds standard education in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent discipline
- Previous experience as an HGV Mechanic in a similar role
- A strong knowledge of vehicles, trailers, workshop plant and equipment
- The capability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical and pneumatic problems
The ideal candidate will be able to multitask, meet key deadlines effectively, and exhibit rigorous fault-finding skills.
This role offers a competitive salary of £18.52 per hour and the opportunity to work in a proactive and detail-oriented environment.
