Job Summary:

Bryony Gibson Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Tax Senior to join our team. As a Tax Senior, you will play a key role in supporting our Tax Partner with the delivery of tax compliance and advisory services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and file a wide range of income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and businesses.
  • Support the Tax Partner with tax planning, providing expert advice on personal taxation and other matters.
  • Deal with clients face-to-face and via phone to discuss tax issues.
  • Communicate with HMRC regarding penalty appeals, interest objections, and other matters.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in personal tax returns in a professional services environment.
  • Working knowledge of tax software, such as CCH.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to use initiative to explore planning research projects.
  • ATT qualification or part-qualification desirable.

Working Environment:

The successful candidate will work in our office, with flexibility on hours where needed. We offer a collaborative and supportive work environment, with opportunities for learning and development.
