We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a Procurement Specialist - Indirect Spend, you will be responsible for managing the procurement of indirect goods and services, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve cost savings and improve supplier relationships.
  • Manage the procurement process from sourcing to contract award, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including category managers and procurement managers.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain supplier relationships, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Manage and analyze data to drive category and supplier decision-making.
  • Develop and implement category strategies to achieve cost savings and improve supplier relationships.
  • Provide support and guidance to internal stakeholders on procurement-related matters.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a procurement role, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather and analyze data to drive category and supplier decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering results.
  • Proven track record of delivering cost savings and process improvements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CIPS qualified or holds a relevant business degree.
