In this role, you'll lead the delivery of pricing & underwriting outcomes within a specific pricing domain to contribute to your squad achieving its goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide input and support to decision making in service to commercial, customer, and strategic goals.
  • Improve DLG's pricing performance and longer-term capability while maintaining pricing & underwriting discipline.
  • Utilize technical and analytical expertise to positively influence your immediate team and the wider pricing & underwriting chapter, developing innovative solutions to challenging problems.
  • Engage in the wider Pricing & Underwriting community and influence tribe objectives and priorities.
  • Support other colleagues with their work and development, building the overall squad capability.
  • Lead on relevant pricing and chapter projects as needed.

About You:

  • Previous pricing experience within an insurance pricing role and the ability to work and create in an ever-changing environment.
  • Demonstratable technical experience within a specific or multiple areas of pricing such as trading, modeling, optimization, risk modeling, etc.
  • Experience utilizing software and tools like Radar, Emblem, SAS, SQL, and Python.
  • Display curiosity and collaboration, along with being an excellent communicator and a good problem solver.
  • Ability to positively influence a range of stakeholders.
