Animal Care Support Specialist

British Veterinary Association is seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Veterinary Nurse to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with our experienced veterinarians and nurses to provide top-notch care to our patients and their owners.
Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities include nursing care to patients, assisting Vets and Nurses in restraining animals for treatment, maintaining a clean and safe environment, preparing emergency and operating facilities, and supporting administrative tasks such as answering emergency calls and covering the receptionist desk. You will also have opportunities to develop your skills and knowledge in areas such as laboratory procedures and customer service.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should possess excellent communication and customer service skills, experience working in a veterinary environment, and a strong understanding of animal welfare needs. Additionally, you should be currently enrolled on a Veterinary Nursing course and demonstrate resilience and ability to cope with distressing situations. The estimated salary for this position is £22,000-£28,000 per annum.
