Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee and support our housekeeping operations at the Billesley Manor Hotel. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to lead a team effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily housekeeping operations and ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Train and supervise housekeeping staff, providing guidance, feedback, and support as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness and maintenance standards.
- Handle guest requests and complaints promptly and professionally, taking appropriate action to resolve any issues.
- Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of housekeeping supplies and equipment.
- Implement and enforce hotel policies and procedures related to housekeeping.
- Assist in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new housekeeping team members.
