We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Forensic Psychiatrist to join our team at the Spinney Hospital in Greater Manchester. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical services to our patients in a secure and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and expertise in forensic psychiatry to our multidisciplinary team
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans for patients with complex mental health needs
- Conduct regular ward rounds and participate in clinical audit and quality improvement work
- Lead the implementation of risk assessment and risk management strategies
- Write and supervise various reports, including Mental Health Act tribunals and managers' reports
- Attend hearings and provide expert testimony as required
- Be on the Specialty Register for Forensic Psychiatry or General Psychiatry with forensic experience
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
