Empower Digital Limited is seeking a seasoned Demolition Estimator to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to work closely with experienced colleagues and become a valued member of the department.
Key Responsibilities- Estimate and prepare the cost of demolition tenders using first principles, ensuring accurate pricing strategies are in place.
- Utilize experience in Demolition and Asbestos Removal to develop detailed estimate proposals.
- Develop initial tender programmes in conjunction with project teams, highlighting potential cost risks and opportunities.
- Sourcing supplier and sub-contractor quotations to ensure competitive pricing.
- Lead the tender submission process, preparing comprehensive tender documents and submitting them to clients.
- Present and review tender proposals with the Demolition Manager, attending post-tender negotiations and contract reviews as needed.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, sub-contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Strong knowledge of relevant demolition and health & safety policies and procedures.
- Excellent organisational skills, meeting deadlines, planning, and prioritising workload.
- Prior experience in estimating roles within the demolition industry.
- Strong communication, organisational, and time management skills, with excellent Microsoft Excel spreadsheet abilities.
A competitive salary range of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a tailored remuneration package suitable for each individual and job role.
This is a geographical-based position covering the Midlands and expanding nationally, making living in or around Birmingham preferable.
