Job Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit to the post of Service Manager for Anaesthetic Services within the NPTS Service Group. On behalf of the Directorate Manager, the post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management, ensuring the delivery of key targets and priorities in a safe, sustainable, and effective environment.

The post holder will support the Directorate Manager in the modernisation, planning, and delivery of services within the Delivery Unit.

Main Duties of the Job

On behalf of the Directorate Manager, the post holder is responsible for the day-to-day operational issues within designated areas of responsibility to ensure the Delivery Unit delivers on its key targets and priorities in a safe, sustainable, and effective environment.

This post will support the Directorate Manager in the modernisation, planning, and delivery of services within the Delivery Unit.

  • Previous experience of managing a department/group of staff
