Support Worker

At FitzRoy, we are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team in Bury St Edmunds. As a Support Worker, you will be working with individuals with learning disabilities, providing tailored care and support to enable them to live independently.
The role involves providing personal care, supporting individuals with daily tasks, and encouraging them to participate in activities that promote a healthy and fulfilling lifestyle.
You will work closely with the individuals you support, their families, and other professionals to ensure that their needs are met and their goals are achieved.
We offer a competitive rate of £11.25 - £12.37 per hour at weekends, with opportunities for overtime and a £25 emergency payment for short notice cover.
As a Support Worker, you will be required to hold a full driving licence and be willing to drive our accessible vehicles.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing personal care and support to individuals with learning disabilities
- Assisting with daily tasks, such as cooking and cleaning
- Encouraging individuals to participate in activities that promote a healthy and fulfilling lifestyle
- Working closely with individuals, their families, and other professionals to ensure that their needs are met and their goals are achieved
