Job Title: Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team at Legal & General. As a key member of our software development team, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing robust and scalable applications using cutting-edge technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-quality software applications using Java, Spring, and Quarkus frameworks.
  • Work with our agile team to deliver innovative solutions for our customers.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to the growth and development of our team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our software development processes.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in Java development, with a strong understanding of Java Core, Spring, and Quarkus frameworks.
  • Experience with microservices architecture, containerization using Docker, and orchestration using Kubernetes.
  • Strong understanding of computing science fundamentals, including concurrency, algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with CI/CD methodologies and tools, such as Jenkins and GitHub.
