Job Title: Payroll Officer

Page Personnel Finance is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join their team in Goole on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with payroll administration tasks, ensuring smooth and accurate payroll processing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process end-to-end payroll process, including calculations of SSP & SMP
  • Deal with HMRC submissions and resolve any discrepancies
  • Process new starter and leaver information, and prepare P45's and P60's
  • Prepare and submit payroll reports to the management team
  • Deal with payroll queries over the phone and email, and provide excellent customer service
Requirements:
  • A strong knowledge of payroll systems and procedures
  • Relevant experience in a similar payroll position
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong customer service focus
  • Driven attitude to learn and progress
