About the Role:

In this position, you will be responsible for providing critical support to Defence operations in the UK and abroad. As a member of the RAF Firefighter force, you will work closely with teams to ensure effective emergency response and fire safety awareness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Emergency response and firefighting in the UK and overseas.
  • Deployment and redeployment periods.
  • Fire safety awareness and first response on Defence estates.
Requirements:
  • UK, Republic of Ireland, or Commonwealth citizenship.
  • GCSE qualifications in English and Mathematics.
  • Full driving license and passing fitness tests.
  • Health requirements, including BMI and medical conditions.
Remuneration and Benefits:
  • Average annual salary: £8,500.
  • Remuneration package: £7,000 per deployment.
  • Operational Training Supplement: £1,500 (dependent on annual training).
