Are you looking for a dynamic role in insurance claims? Calibre Candidates is seeking an experienced Property Loss Adjuster to join our team in the North East of England. As a Property Loss Adjuster, you will be responsible for investigating and managing property claims, including commercial and domestic losses.

The successful candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and proficiency in report writing and claims management systems. They will also be able to work autonomously, with a high level of discretion and professionalism.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Investigating and assessing property claims, including commercial and domestic losses
  • Conducting site visits to inspect damage, gather evidence, and evaluate the extent of the loss
  • Liaising with policyholders, insurers, contractors, and other parties to facilitate the claims process
  • Preparing detailed reports outlining findings, liability assessments, and recommended settlements
  • Negotiating settlements in line with policy terms, conditions, and regulatory guidelines
  • Providing expert advice and guidance to clients and colleagues on complex claims
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation throughout the claims process

We offer a competitive salary of approximately £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, along with a range of benefits, including an enhanced contributory pension scheme, a performance-related bonus scheme, a car allowance, a flexible benefits scheme, enhanced family leave, and a share purchase scheme with interest-free loans.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience as a Property Loss Adjuster (ideally 2-3 years)
  • Strong knowledge of insurance principles, policy coverage, and claims processes
  • Relevant professional qualifications (Dip CILA/CII) or a willingness to undertake sponsored study
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • An analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in report writing and claims management systems
