Veterinarian Surgeon Leader

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head Vet Surgeon to join our busy first opinion small animal practice in the East Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned veterinarian looking to step into a leadership role or take their career to the next level.

• This is a full-time permanent position, working 40 hours a week including some weekends on a rota and no OOH (out of hours) work.
• The practice offers a varied caseload with routine surgical and medical cases, as well as a high volume of exotic species.
• The practice is modern and spacious, equipped with state-of-the-art technology including digital X-ray, in-house laboratory, ultrasound, and multi-parameter equipment.

• A degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent qualification.
• Registration with the RCVS (Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons).
• Substantial experience in surgery and medicine, with a particular interest in orthopaedics desirable.
• Experience working with exotic species would be advantageous.
• Ability to lead, manage, and mentor a clinical team effectively.
