Industrial Maintenance Specialist

Location: Stoke
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Allied Bakeries. The role is a challenging and varied one, requiring proactive and reactive maintenance and repairs to the plant and site services associated with a major bakery.
Key Responsibilities- To diagnose and correct automation, electrical, and mechanical issues to resolve breakdown situations efficiently.
- To ensure that our engineering strategy is consistently delivered and implemented effectively.
- To deliver turn-key improvement projects in a timely and cost-efficient manner, resulting in increased productivity and reduced downtime.
- To drive the performance of the Engineering function forward by identifying areas for improvement and implementing new processes and procedures.
- To focus on safe working practices and site performance KPIs, including OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and CCOs (Critical Control Operations).
In addition to the above responsibilities, the successful candidate will be required to undertake other duties as reasonably expected within the general character of the role. This list is not exhaustive, and the post holder may be required to perform tasks as needed.
The Ideal Candidate- A team player with excellent communication skills.
- Able to train, coach, and assist operators and other engineers effectively.
- A Higher National Certificate (HNC) in an electrical, automation, or multiskilled engineering discipline is desirable, supported by suitable experience.
- Enthusiastic and motivated, with a passion for continuous improvement and delivering exceptional results.
- Flexible and co-operative to assist in meeting business needs.
