Role Overview

In this key role, you will be supporting a wide range of customers across all submarine programs, working closely with site and facilities teams. You will be undertaking technical work on all aspects of CFD simulations, including pre-processing, applying and developing CFD models, solving analysis, post processing, and authoring technical reports and presentations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertaking technical work on all aspects of CFD simulations, including pre-processing (CAD modelling and meshing), applying & developing CFD model, solving analysis, post processing & authoring technical reports/presentations.
  • Supporting team meetings & providing technical support.
  • Project management and business development.
  • Technically reviewing work.
  • Capability development - establishing processes & methods.
  • Involvement in CFD toolset research & development activities.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Aeronautical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, etc. or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working in a highly regulated/high hazard industry.
  • Proficient using at least one CFD software package such as Ansys Fluent or StarCCM+.
