Job Summary:

Employment Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a Procurement Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining an uninterrupted flow of goods into our manufacturing facility, ensuring operational efficiency and meeting customer demands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the supply chain to meet production and customer demand.
  • Purchasing of goods, materials and services.
  • Utilizing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems.
  • Maintain supplier performance.
  • Evaluate areas of improvement and cost reduction opportunities.
  • Resolve issues on price, quality, delivery, and invoices.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Procurement Specialist or equivalent role.
  • Strong experience with ERP and MRP systems, preferably Epicor.
  • Experience within manufacturing or engineering.
  • Strong IT skills using Microsoft packages.

What We Offer:

Employment Solutions offers a competitive pay rate of £18.75 per hour (dependent on experience) and a full-time contract with 40 hours per week. The working hours are Monday to Thursday from 07:45 to 16:30 and Friday from 07:45 to 12:45.
