About the Role:

As a Year 6 teacher, you will be responsible for the pastoral care of children taking their first steps in Key Stage 2, promoting teamwork, and cultivating a conducive learning environment. You will teach the Key Stage 2 curriculum to groups of children while focusing on each individual child's learning targets, encouraging their strengths, and improving their weaknesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of your students.
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback and support to ensure academic excellence.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives that promote academic achievement and well-being.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture that values diversity and promotes social responsibility.
