Overview

GSL Education - London is a leading education recruitment agency, and we are currently seeking an English Language Development Assistant to join our team at a client secondary school in Islington.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £90-£115 per day, depending on experience. We also offer competitive benefits, including enhanced DBS support and access to ongoing professional development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality support to ESOL students, helping them to improve their English language skills.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
Required Qualifications and Experience
  • Previous experience as an ESOL Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of ESOL teaching methods and strategies.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
