Job Title: English Language Development Assistant
OverviewGSL Education - London is a leading education recruitment agency, and we are currently seeking an English Language Development Assistant to join our team at a client secondary school in Islington.
Salary and BenefitsThe salary for this role is estimated to be around £90-£115 per day, depending on experience. We also offer competitive benefits, including enhanced DBS support and access to ongoing professional development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality support to ESOL students, helping them to improve their English language skills.
- Work collaboratively with teachers to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
- Previous experience as an ESOL Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of ESOL teaching methods and strategies.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
