We are seeking a highly skilled SEND Teaching Support Professional to join our team at a thriving and aspirational SEND Alternate Provision based in Leicester. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children with Special Educational Needs.

As a SEND Teaching Support Professional, you will be responsible for providing one-to-one support to students with Special Educational Needs, as well as working collaboratively with teachers and other staff members to create a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing individualized support to students with Special Educational Needs
  • Assisting teachers with lesson planning and preparation
  • Maintaining accurate records of student progress and attainment

Requirements for the role include:

  • NVQ Level 3 Qualification in Education
  • Experience working with challenging behaviour and Emotional Behavioral Disorders
  • Previous experience working as a learning support assistant
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Patient and compassionate approach
