As a key member of our Learning and Skills team, you will play a vital role in delivering our vision for a Child Friendly City, where the voices of children and young people with SEND are heard and respected.

Our Vision: We want all children and young people aged 0-25 with SEND to be healthy and happy, do well in education, make friends and build strong, lasting relationships within their local community. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead an integrated approach to the delivery of SEND services, working collaboratively with social care and health colleagues and wider inclusion services.
  • Work closely with Hull's Learning Partnership of school leaders, which identifies inclusion as a first priority.
  • Develop and maintain positive, mutually respectful relationships with parents, carers, and experts by experience.
  • Ensure that children and young people with SEND are valued and supported in all settings.
