**Job Summary**
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to oversee the safe and efficient operation of our processing plant lines, ensuring high standards of productivity and quality.
**Key Responsibilities**
- **Plant Operations**: Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the plant lines, maintaining high standards of productivity and quality.
- **Maintenance and Repair**: Conduct regular inspections of machinery, identify repair needs, and perform maintenance checks to guarantee safety and operational efficiency.
- **Reporting and Communication**: Report any breakdowns or plant issues to the Maintenance Engineer and Yard Manager promptly, ensuring they are addressed safely and effectively.
- **Administrative Tasks**: Maintain accurate and timely paperwork, including inventory records and activity logs.
- **Material Handling**: Assist in unloading and loading materials from incoming and outgoing vehicles.
- **Process Improvement**: Contribute ideas and suggestions to enhance the efficiency and operations of both plant lines and the warehouse.
- **Safety and Security**: Safeguard the building and all stock within it, ensuring their safety and security.
- **Yard Duties**: Assist with manual yard duties as requested by the Yard Manager.
- **Compliance**: Adhere to company policies and legal guidelines to maintain a safe and orderly working environment.
- **Computer Literacy**: Basic computer literacy for record-keeping purposes.
**Working Hours**: The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday, from 07:00 to 17:00, resulting in 47 hours per week. This is a day work position with the possibility of overtime, subject to agreement.
