Job Title: Care Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team at Rosevale Lodge Care Home. The successful candidate will provide high-quality, person-centred care to our residents, promoting a welcoming environment where residents are treated with respect and dignity.

Responsibilities:

* Assist residents with daily living activities, such as dressing, bathing, eating, and mobility.
* Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, helping them maintain a good quality of life.
* Help residents maintain independence where possible, encouraging involvement in activities.
* Assist with moving and handling residents using appropriate techniques and equipment.
* Support the nursing and healthcare team by monitoring residents' well-being and reporting any changes in their health or behaviour.

Requirements:

* Right to work in the UK.
* Previous experience in Health and Social Care preferred, although not essential as full training will be provided.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* A good standard of oral and written English.
* A non-judgemental approach to others.
* Excellent communication skills with the compassion required to deliver high-quality care to our residents.
* Respectful to not only residents but the values and beliefs of other team members.
