Job Title: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a leading FMCG manufacturer in Shepton Mallet. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for carrying out all aspects of maintenance and ensuring the smooth operation of our production facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and replacements of equipment and machinery
  • Conduct troubleshooting and fault-finding to identify and resolve technical issues
  • Collaborate with other engineers and production staff to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to minimize downtime and optimize production
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer in a FMCG manufacturing environment
  • Strong technical knowledge and skills, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with production staff and other stakeholders
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including shifts and overtime as required
