Opportunity Summary

We are looking for an Ecologist to join our experienced and friendly Newcastle team. As a key member of the team, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects including heritage, renewable energy, residential, leisure and minerals.

Job Description

As an Ecologist, you will have 2+ years full-time experience working in ecological consultancy. You will have a broad ecological skill-set and, ideally, a protected species licence. You will also have a working knowledge of current and evolving wildlife policy and legislation, confidence in written and verbal communication, project management and client liaison skills, enthusiasm for ecology and the environment in the UK, and the desire to promote high professional standards in ecology.

You will be responsible for conducting site assessments, preparing reports, and communicating with clients. You will also have the opportunity to participate in training and career development programmes.
