Support Worker for Dementia Patients

At Alzheimer's Society, we are committed to providing support and care to people affected by dementia. Our organization is made up of people with dementia, carers, experts, campaigners, researchers, and clinicians, working together to address the biggest challenges facing people living with dementia.
Job Description:We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic individual to fill the role of Group Support Volunteer. In this position, you will provide support and encouragement to people affected by dementia, enabling them to engage in activities and socialize with others in a group setting.
Key Requirements:- Awareness of or willingness to learn about dementia and its impact on individuals and their families.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The estimated salary for this role is £14-18 per hour, depending on experience and location. We offer a competitive benefits package, including opportunities for professional development and a supportive work environment.
