Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Support Worker to join our team at Gray Healthcare Ltd in the Wrexham area.

The successful candidate will provide one-to-one support to an individual living independently with Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder and Schizoaffective disorder.


Role Requirements
  • To assist the individual in maintaining their independence and improving their overall well-being.
  • To develop a strong, supportive relationship with the individual, promoting trust and confidence.
  • To work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and other support workers to ensure comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the individual with daily living tasks, including personal care and domestic duties.
  • Encourage the individual to engage in activities that promote social interaction and community integration.
  • Maintain accurate records of support provided and report any concerns or incidents to the line manager.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Diploma or equivalent in Health and Social Care or a related field.
  • Experience working with individuals with mental health needs, particularly those with Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder and Schizoaffective disorder.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
