Job Title: Maintenance Operations Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Operations Manager to lead our P8-A aircraft support team at RAF Lossiemouth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of base maintenance in support of the Royal Air Force.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of Maintenance Controllers, Operational Support staff, and Support team under BDUK's MAA MRP Part 145 (MAOS) in partnership with the Aircraft Maintenance Manager.
  • Develop and execute project and process plans, implementing policies and procedures and setting operational goals.
  • Acquire resources for projects and processes, providing technical management of suppliers and leading process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports.
  • Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes.
  • Manage, develop, and motivate team members.

Requirements:

  • Degree level or equivalent in a relevant technical discipline.
  • UK/EASA Part 66 Licence B1 and/or B2 or equivalent.
  • Management/leadership experience within an aircraft Maintenance repair organisation (MRO), Military Maintenance Organisation (MMO), or Approved Maintenance Organisation (AMO).
  • 737 derivative aircraft technical experience an advantage.
  • Project management experience.

Security Clearance: UK MOD Security Clearance (or willingness and eligibility to obtain) is essential. Higher levels of Security Clearance may be desirable.
