Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electronics Test Engineer to join our team at Qualitrol Company.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing test procedures for electronic products, designing and installing test solutions, and providing training and support to suppliers and colleagues.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement test procedures for electronic sub-assemblies, products, and systems.
  • Develop hardware including test jigs, fixtures, and platforms to enable functional testing on PCBA's and sub-assemblies.
  • Install and commission test solutions into suppliers' production processes.
  • Provide training and mentoring for suppliers, test technicians, and create necessary support documentation.
  • Perform Customer Factory Witness tests.
  • Support product design engineers on new product design for manufacturing compliance.
  • Test development for new product introduction.
  • Create test procedures for boards being subcontracted for assembly.
  • Travel to subcontractors to train and set up board level testing.
  • Troubleshoot product to component level using Engineering specifications, schematics, and product specifications.

Requirements:

  1. HND/HNC in Electronics or 5 years of relevant working experience.
  2. Minimum 1 year's continuous experience testing electronic equipment in a manufacturing environment.
  3. PREFERABLY 1 year's continuous experience with root cause fault finding on electronic PCBA's to component level.
  4. Knowledge of electronic measurement equipment especially in power electronics (i.e., DMM) and the analog signal domain (i.e., Oscilloscope).
  5. Strong PC skills including MS Office.
  6. Flexible to work evenings and weekends.
  7. Technically orientated, analytical, and methodical.

An estimated salary of $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
