We are seeking a highly skilled Deputy Electronic Design Authority to join our team at Atlas Recruitment Group Limited. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for overseeing and supporting the design authorities of sub-systems for an underwater weapon system.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical leadership and guidance to design teams, ensuring compliance with environmental requirements and safety standards.
- Develop and implement design strategies, including component-level electronic designs, digital design, and analogue design.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and test designs, ensuring defect resolution and compliance with legislative requirements.
- Conduct design proving activities, including EMC testing, to ensure safety and performance.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and test reports.
- Substantial experience in electronics design, including high power techniques and analogue design.
- Proven track record of design proving, integration, and defect resolution.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design and safety principles.
- Experience working in a defence or high-safety-integrity environment is preferred.
