GP Associate Dean

A GP Associate Dean role has become available at the NHS, supporting retention of the GP workforce in London.

The role is designed to assess applications, find suitable placements, and support doctors as they progress through their training posts.

Main duties of the job include:

  • Coordinating postgraduate general practice activities across London.
  • Providing input into the development of the primary care workforce through promoting multi-professional education.
  • Supporting and working with the Head of School for GP Education.

Key skills and abilities include:

  • Excellent verbal communication and influencing skills.
  • Excellent English language skills written.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements include:

  • Full registration with a clinical regulator.
  • Membership of the Royal College of GPs.
  • Accredited qualification in education or equivalent experience.

The salary for this role is £122,470 per annum, pro rata.
