Public Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Public Health Specialist to join our team at Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust. As a Health Visitor, you will play a critical role in promoting the health and wellbeing of children and families in our local community.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in health visiting and a passion for public health. You will be responsible for delivering a high-quality service to our patients, working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.
You will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. If you are a motivated and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver the Healthy Child Programme to children and families in the community
- Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes
- Develop and implement programmes of care to promote the health and wellbeing of children and families
- First-level registered nurse/midwife qualification
- Specialist practitioner qualification in health visiting/public health nursing
- Minimum 2 years post-registration experience
