Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team in the construction and facilities management industry. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of maintenance tasks, including planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform planned and reactive maintenance tasks, from basic plumbing to maintenance of the building fabric.
  • Carry out routine maintenance checks and report any issues to the management team.
  • Participate in an on-call rota to ensure that maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure that maintenance tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure that equipment and facilities are properly maintained.

Requirements:

  • Experience in the FM, retail or public building sectors is highly desirable.
  • A flexible, proactive and customer-focused approach to your work.
  • A full UK driving licence, as driving is required for the role, due to the reactive nature of the works.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
