About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) team. The successful candidate will work closely with our Consultant Psychologist to ensure the quality of our psychological provision and develop psychological knowledge and skills across our workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and provide psychological interventions for children and adolescents with mental health difficulties
- Develop and implement psychological therapies and assessment methodologies
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Contribute to the development of psychological knowledge and skills across the workforce

Person Specification
- Post-graduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology
- Registration with the Health Care Professionals Council (HCPC) as a Practitioner (Clinical) Psychologist
- Experience of working with a wide variety of client groups, across the whole life course and presenting with the full range of clinical severity
- Ability to identify, provide and promote appropriate means of support to carers and staff exposed to highly distressing situations
