**Job Description**

The successful candidate will work closely with younger students who experience social, emotional, and mental health challenges. Key responsibilities include:

  • Personalised Support: Provide tailored assistance to help students engage with the curriculum and develop coping strategies for emotional challenges.
  • Emotional and Social Development: Foster a safe and caring atmosphere, offering guidance to help students build resilience, confidence, and self-esteem.
  • Team Teach Training: While prior training in Team Teach is preferred, we offer free training to successful candidates.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

To be considered, applicants must have experience as an SEMH Teaching Assistant or in a similar role, particularly in primary education. Experience with behaviour management techniques is desirable.
