About Sanderson: We are a leading and innovative financial services organisation seeking a highly skilled Application Security Architect to drive the development of secure solutions across our organisation.
Main Responsibilities:
- Security Strategy Leadership: Lead the development and implementation of security plans and roadmaps, ensuring the application of best practices in security architecture.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the wider architect community and business stakeholders to identify key security requirements, resolve complex technical challenges, and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Community Engagement: Actively participate in the broader architecture community within the organisation, sharing best practices and providing insights to improve security outcomes.
- Solution Design: Design secure solutions as part of enterprise-wide projects and programs, ensuring they meet both business and security requirements.
Required Skills:
- Security Architecture Expertise: Proven experience in Security Architecture and Application Security, with a deep understanding of security principles and practices.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong technical background across multiple security domains, with familiarity in cloud security standards, particularly in a DevSecOps environment.
- Agile/DevSecOps Experience: Experience working within Agile and DevSecOps frameworks, with a focus on integrating security into the development process.
- Information Security Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of Information Security Architectural concepts and best practices for both on-premise and cloud-based solutions.
- Communication Skills: Ability to clearly explain complex security issues to stakeholders at all levels across the organisation, acting as a security subject matter expert.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage experience to develop pragmatic solutions and resolve complex security issues.
- Salesforce Experience (Desirable): Experience working with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud and Salesforce OmniStudio is highly desirable.
