About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team at Rise Technical Recruitment Limited. As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of large-scale bespoke mechanical machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance of mechanical machinery, including troubleshooting and repair
  • Overseeing reactive and preventative maintenance duties as part of a team of engineers
  • Training on equipment and external courses on NVQs such as electrical and maintenance
  • Working in a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, with days based working
Requirements
  • Experience in a mechanical engineering environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, industrial setting
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively
