We are seeking a skilled and experienced Care Home Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Go To Outsourcing. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will play a vital role in preparing and serving high-quality meals to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals for 30+ people in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Cook from fresh produce and English-style dishes, ensuring a varied and nutritious menu for our residents.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Provide excellent customer service to our residents, responding to their dietary needs and preferences.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge in food preparation and IDDSI training.

Requirements:

  • 12+ months experience as a Kitchen Assistant in a care setting.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and evenings.
  • Right to work in the UK and enhanced DBS clearance.
  • Availability to work per week, with a minimum of 8-10 hour shifts.
