About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Refrigeration Engineer to join our team at Dalkia UK. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance and upkeep of our client's showcase residential training and conference centre, Cannington Court.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out scheduled maintenance tasks, repairs, and operations of equipment and services in accordance with best practice.
  • Ensure that all third-party contractors work safely and professionally on site, adhering to company and site-specific procedures.
  • Review and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Ensure the operation of the centre is compliant at all times.
Requirements
  • Good all-round maintenance engineer with strong electrical knowledge.
  • C&G Level 3 Electrical Installations or recognised equivalent.
  • Health and Safety Training, including knowledge of Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
  • GCSE (or 'O' Level equivalent) passes in Maths and English or recognised equivalent.
  • Experience with similar maintenance duties, including fault diagnosis and rectification.
  • Experience in the Electrical aspects of general building PPM schedules.
  • Experienced in Electrical Installation work, plus electrical testing and inspection.
  • A good understanding of Building Critical and Non-Critical Systems.
  • Knowledge in CAFM PPM Management System (Concept) via handheld PDA.
Desirable
  • C&G Electrical Inspection and Testing (or equivalent).
  • 18th Edition IEE Electrical Regulations.
  • BMS (Building Management System) knowledge and understanding.
  • A good basic Mechanical understanding.
  • Understanding of COSHH and handling of substances.
