Job Title: Early Years Education Support Worker

Job Summary: Aspire People is recruiting for a caring and nurturing Early Years Teaching Assistant to support children across nursery classes in an 'OFSTED' Good rated Nursery School.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher with teaching and learning in the classroom
  • Ensure all children are provided with a safe environment to learn in
  • Assist with eating and help provide a sense of independence
  • Liaise with parents at the end of each day
  • Support pupils who may present with additional needs

Requirements:

  • Level 2 or above qualification in Early Years or Childcare (or equivalent)
  • Experience working in an Early Years setting
  • Clean DBS on the update (or be able to pay for one)
  • References from past employers
  • A kind and caring nature
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and ability to plan for and track progress of key children
