Quality Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Operations Manager to join our team at GlaxoSmithKline. As a key member of our quality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance across our manufacturing and production operations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide coaching and mentoring to a small team of quality personnel, including recruitment, appraisals, training, and performance management.
- Ensure the team sets a strong example in terms of quality and compliance performance, and drive prompt resolution of issues.
- Promote safe working practices and provide direction and oversight for environmental, health, and safety programs.
- Monitor quality-related systems, improvement procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure resource management processes are in place to deliver batch release, investigation, and operations oversight and support to projects.
- Support audits across the site, including overseeing L1 audit programs within the team.
- Foster a continuous quality improvement culture within the Operational Quality department and deputize for the Operational Quality Director as required.
We are looking for a Qualified Person (QP) with a strong background in quality and compliance. You will have experience of working in a sophisticated manufacturing site and be self-motivated with strong communication skills. You will also be able to work effectively in a team environment and have a strong understanding of quality management systems.
