Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and mentor a team of 4 project engineers and 6 helpdesk staff
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing professional development opportunities for team members
  • Oversee and manage the service desk and project teams, ensuring service delivery meets agreed-upon SLAs and KPIs
  • Implement and optimize ITIL processes to enhance service delivery efficiency and effectiveness
  • Act as the primary escalation point for critical issues, leading resolution efforts during major incidents
  • Act as an SME for Azure, Office 365, IP Networking, Windows Server, and related technologies
  • Provide hands-on support & mentorship
  • Support the strategic direction for the business
  • Be a forward-facing presence and support clients with technical advice where appropriate
  • Excellent communication skills

This role could be based from Bristol or in Gloucester, with good flexibility to work from home or in a location that will allow you to thrive. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent project and people management skills, and the ability to promote a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.

Requirements:

  • Strong technical background with experience in Azure, Office 365, IP Networking, Windows Server, and related technologies
