Job Description:

This exciting opportunity involves teaching Health and Social Care to secondary school students, with a focus on delivering engaging and interactive lessons.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents/carers, and colleagues.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Health and Social Care or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience teaching Health and Social Care at the secondary school level is beneficial.
  • Strong subject knowledge and teaching skills.
  • A commitment to equality and diversity.
  • A DBS on the Update Service OR willingness to obtain.
  • x2 satisfactory references.
